Happiest new year wishes to all!!!!

Hello beauties!!!
Blimey, how time flies!!!It's been along time since any of us fairies blogged!
It's been a time of going abroad to sunny climates, coming home to christmas fairs in freezing temps, rosa taking her leave of us to explore Rosa bloom pastures,Cherry fairy taking over and doing a brilliant job in the fairy office, fairylove party and i even got myself into the recording studios and recorded my first song!!! AMAZING!!
So now it is the day before new years eve and i have had lots of time here at fairy hq just letting it all wash over me (and lots of dvd watching!)It's been lovely!

Lots of positive fairy changes being talked about, one of them being that i am getting a fairy housemate in febuary, the gorgeous Iris fairy is moving in and is going to make wings with us and help out on the free your fairy weekends!I am also trying to convince some other great mates that it's time to leave london behind and to come on down to fairy hq!!!

I fly out in january for a month in india for a lot of yoga and adventuring,it's my first time and it feels huge for me!!! Then i come home and jason fairy goes to new zealand with rachel and sam for some sunshine!!

So that is abit of a catch up and i hope you are all rockin and having a great time!!
I love you all and send you all special fairy wishes this day!!

Autumn Moon...

Firstly, did anyone see the moon last night? It was SO beautiful...look out for it over the next couple of nights if it's clear - proper harvest moon, stunning.

Well, it's certainly been a wee while since I wrote in the blog...I was actually just looking over old posts, and it's so funny reading it, it's great because it reminded me of loads of stuff that happened that I'd just forgotten about. And summer seems so long ago already.

I'm currently preparing to leave the Fairylove crew...which feels like a massive step, but quite exciting too. It'll be very strange not coming to work in the fairy office every day...I'm sure it'll take me a while to get used to it. I'm thinking I'll head for the sun for January/February...MUCH-needed after the not-so-hot summer we've just had. This week we've got the lovely Katie Fairy down from Edinburgh helping out at fairy towers - I'm sure we'll rope her in to writing a blog entry at some point, so watch this space!

Shelley and I had loads of fun doing a photoshoot the other day, for all the new stuff we're putting in the online shop. It was the first time in ages that we've done one, and we had the best time! It was a beautiful sunny day, and we did some quite burlesque-style shots in the wood-panelled room with the sun streaming in through the window...here's a taster, but to see more, check out the new frilly knickers, leggings, burlesque feather headbands, and stockings in the online shop...!

Back on Track

Hey fairies,

Another season closes and we have finally washed all the mud off the fairylove trucks and all the kit....phew. We thought we were gonna have it easier than last year but them whammee came Bestival. For those that were there....well you know! Probably one of the muddiest festies we've ever done.

All in all though we've had another great season and the new fairy staff have all got their wings!

Shelley is now sunning it up in Tuscany and Rosa and I are back in the fairy office arguing about whether to put the heating on. The leaves are falling all around and there are some big changes on the way. Biggest of all is Rosa's departure now set for mid November. Yoikes, better get recruiting!

Will be in more regular touch now the silly season is over.

You may have noticed that the fairylove profile page has disappeared from Facebook....we got kicked off because the profile did not denote an actual individual...bummer. the Fairylove Family Facebook group is still up so keep uploading your fairy pics there.

Back soon,

A few muddy ones

Hey groovers!

Well as Barry Manilow once sung....We made it through the rain!!! Last two festivals although not completely washed out did turn into a bit of a mud bath. At Green Man in wales the mud in front of the stall was 'soupey' and at Bestival it was definately more gooey.

However spirits on the Fairylove Team remained bouyant and there were a few stirling performances of fairies up ladders from Sabrina, Esther and Kathy. Meet them all here!

We're on another dirty doubler this weekend and again there's quite a contrast. One the one hand Green Belt more famous for it's Sunday Morning service than it's late night bar, and on the other Shambala which to my mind is one of the best festies on the circuit and certainly the first festie ever to really get hold of the dressing up theme. Last year the Fairylove fairies all ended up in a jacuzzi with the bubble bimbos from Bubble Inc.

That leaves me, Evil Boss Fairy back at HQ doing all the really hard work. Actually it's much my preferred option at the moment as I get to spend some time with Sam fairy now 6 and half weeks old.

Rachael has taken to motherhood like a fairy to glitter and I'm loving feeling part of a family. Sam sleeps well but does have the occasional wingey period, but hey don't we all.

still got a mountain of data entry for our prize draw still to do so I'll love you and leave for now...

Flat out Fairies

Hey Fairylovers!

Jace here. Well we've just built the biggest and best fairylove shop of all time. It's 6m wide and 12 m deep and is crammed with amazing fairy goodies. When you walk in the shop it looks like some has detonated a huge explosion in the middle of a rainbow! Top seeling products this summer our oue new range of frilly knickers, our amazing new corsets and eye lashes are flying out the door.

The new team are working like a dream and the old timers from last year seem to still be lickin' it up. Shelley and I are just so stoked that everyone is having such a blast on the stall.....everyone dressed up to the fairy nuines and having squillions of paparazzi photos taken.

On a personal note baby Sam Fairy is also loving life on the planet so far....he sleeps, feeds and poos.....and both Mummy Rachael and I are so looking forward to when he can crack out a smile which is not produced by a big fart being squeezed out!!

Will try to get some pics back up asap....back off to Big Chill site tomorrow....back soon!

Jasons pants!!

Greetings fairies,
Leaf Fairy here..... I am stayig at fairy HQ this week and thought i'd tell you a bit about what they really get up to..... well it's all go here as we are well into the festie season now and everyone one can't get enough of Fairylove!
Yesterday started bright and early @ 6:30am with mr Cockrel waking me up but at least the sun was out so I've kinda forgiven him.

I then dozed for a bit and then finally headed down stairs to be greeted by 2 of the 5 hens (yep thats right in the kitchen!) hmmmm... what to do I thought, not knowing if they were meant to be there or not I looked at them for a bit, then one of them did a massive poo in the middle of the floor!! That made up my mind they were probably not meant to be in there so i, using my best chicken shepherding skills chased them out! After i'd cleaned up the poo and chased them out 5 more times (maybe I just don't seem that scarey to a chicken) Jason Fairy came in and made me some jolly nice eggs on toast (all is well)

On my way over to the work shop I noticed puck (the ginger cat) playing with a bummble bee, not the brightest of ideas so with my great fear of all bee/wasp type animals i bravely tried to part the two, as soon as i had he ran back again.... RUBBISH!! Then Sabrina Fairy came to my aid (all is well again).

Made it to the work shop finally and started my fairy poo packing. I was quite happy in my own little world then who walks round the corner but Jason Fairy in just his PANTS complaining that he was too hot! After the shock we decided that it made the day more entertaining having him run past every now and again.

The evening was fab,Shelley Fairy cooked some lovely food and Sabrina fairy joined us. After dinner Sabrina fairy and I decided to raid the fairy dress up room as we (after some wine) thought washing up would be more fun if we were dressed up and indeed it was! (much to Shelley fairies amusement)

Other exciting news (apart for the vegetarians amoung us,including me) was that after his bubble bee practice Puck caught a mouse! (I did try to save it but after getting growled at by Puck decided to give up and let Puck win)

Today I spent unpacking and stock checking deliveries and being buried up to my wings in eye lashes, feather boa's and frilly knickers!! Then Shelley fairy and I went to the local village as faries and made lots of people smile and confused a few. Just been packing more Poo but now have Fairy liquid (bubbles wooohoooo) so all is good in the wonderful world that is Fairylove HQ!!

BLOG CRIME

Ouch!!

Yes father it was me, I did chop down your cherry tree....or rather...yes fairies it was my turn to update the blog and have failed most spectacularly. The dog didn't eat it, there were no leaves on the line, I havn't got food poisoning...in fact I have nothing to say in my defense. Guilty.

So guilty my tippy-tapping fingers are hot red with a sense of moral approbation. I did a bad thing...I left you..our dearest fairy friends in the dark whilst we the Fairylove team are off cavorting round the countryside havingfun at festies and starving you of info and insight.......here's a few pickies to try and make up for it...

Glastonbury Sunny Sunday...

Well, what to say?! Tis Esther Fairy here, recovering from what was quite possibly the most amazing week EVER at Glastonbury. Being a Glastonbury virgin, I didn't really know what to expect and my my was I in for a suprise! completely in awe of the sheer size of this different world, it took a while to settle in, but within a few days it felt like home. For most of the time I was as high as a kite (metophorically of course!) as event after event unfolded!
I found the most gorgeous playmate, Mik Davis, only to then be asked by his band manager Joolz to dress up the legendary comedian Phil Jupitus, which was so much fun! Already starstruck, who should then be standing outside the FairyLove stall but the one and only Kate Nash, not at all inconspicuous in a bright yellow hoodie! Still buzzing from meeting Mr Jupitus, i ran out the stall and got some snaps of Miss Nash in a beautiful pair of FairyLove wings... What a day! After that, everything just seems a blur of feathers, sparkle and frilly knickers! It doesn't get much better than this!
I want to say a HUGE thank you to the Fairy team and to everyone that well and truely got into the spirit and freed their fairies with us, making the Glastonbury experience extra special.
Love and sparkles

Blog-alicious...

Morning!!! Well, it's certainly hotting up here in Glastoland. Yes, it rained last night, so yes things are a little soggy this morning, but it's very warm, and the forecast is good, and the mud is NOTHING compared to last year...and most importantly, spirits are high and people are dressing up! They say a picture paints a thousand words, so i'm going to shower you with photos from the last couple of days...

Oooh i wanted to upload more than that, but the internet connection is excruciatingly slow (i am in the middle of a muddy field, after all...) and my laptop is running out of juice, but worry not, for i shall be charged up and posting again very soon. Hold on to your hats everybody....woop woop! xxx

The masses arrive!

Kathy Fairy here on the fairy stall on this beautiful bright and sunny thursday morn! For the past few days now I have been ambling round the Glastonbury sight with my fairy comrades spreading magic and love to our highest degree! During this time my jaw has been firmly stuck to the ground in amazement and disbelief at the sheer magnitude of this event. Every day i've been exclaiming that there are just so many people here! Really this is a meer sample of what I have to expect over the coming days.

It is getting extremely exciting in our magical cave and I simply cannot wait for it to be jam packed to the max, so that we can bring new fairies into the festival spirit! The dressing up has been well and truely inforced by our fellow festivalers in the likes of the Hurly Burly and we hope the rest of the crowd will join us. The dream team are indeed rocking the dress ups this year! (with much help from some fabulous new lashes!!!!)

We seem to have an ever-increasing wildlife reserve in our camp with baby bunnies and during our staff meeting this morning we were even visited by a shrew on the stall!

Back stage in our camping headquarters this morning, we found a perculiar looking object on the side of the truck. One of the fairies suggested that it could be some kind of fairy truck parasite, happy to be attatched to our magical waggon! At closer inspection and masterful deduction with our fairy powers it was becoming clearer to us what this alien type object was. Having not seen an object like this for a few fairy moons there indeed some puzzlement, the picture below shows what we all could see! Rosa and Shelley Fairy being cheif fairies of our clan knew straight away what it was! It was one of our feather eyelashes! We could only assume it had been there since the last festival season as no one has worn that particular lash so far this season! It just prooves what staying power our fantastical lashes have!

Whoop whoop its Glastonbury...

Hello hello fairyfolks, lots of love from Glastonbury.
Its Mika fairy here.

With so much exitment in the air all of us fairies decided to crack on with setting up the stall, making it look amazing and finishing in time to have a wander around this oh so magical little city... I reckon we have done a great job. The stall looks fabulous, pink and ready for amazing times ahead. And we need to applaude the two guy fairies for a big big fancy changing room which looks like its only missing a discoball now.

Sooo... set up was done and all of us jumped in our first Glastonbury tutus and decided to raid every dress up stall we could find before they had even finished unpacking. Lots of fairyfriends joined us on our mission, such as Naomi who is in the picture above. Best outfit???? HAMISH. Throughout our little walk Hame fairy turned into a 20s housewife about to do the dishes, only to then top his outfit with some glittery pink leather-like 70s disco shirt - once again has Hamish taken his inner fairy to new hights... whoop.

Also along our way.. Shelley fairy is showing off her biggest and most colorful wings ever, Jess fairy is badly missed and not only by the rest of the fairy crew.., the Hurley Burley veggie-music-cabaret world has to become best stall and the sun is shining at Glastonbury. I know I need to get over this, especially as most of the fairies here had at least a few years of getting used to it but Glastonbury is so big. It is HUGE!! Loving it.

A new day is born...oh, and a baby!

Good morning! Well, the top news item of the morning has got to be the birth of Jason Fairy's son! Born in the middle of the night...so HUGE congratulations to Jason and Rachel. And how lucky is that boy, he's going to have a Glastonbury Birthday for the rest of his life!! We can't wait to see photos of the kiddo...we're still trying to get our heads round the idea that we will soon see Jason with a baby in his arms (he usually recoils away from other people's babies!!). SO exciting!

Anyway, back to the more trivial news items...we made a good dent in the stall set-up yesterday. I put up the holographic silver ceiling for the first time this season, which involves lots of clambering around on narrow metal bars high in the roof of the stall...the closest I'll ever get to being a trapeze artist I reckon!

Kathy put the finishing touches to our lovely new display board, featuring the Fairylove Story, and lots of fantastic photos to give people a flavour of what we're all about...

Shelley decided it was all getting a bit too hot and sweaty in the stall, so stripped off and continued her work naked!

We'll leave you guessing what's hidden behind that huge box.

Well, not much juicy gossip to report yet, but it's early days. So to wrap up, here's a nice photo of all of us eating the delicious dinner that Kathy and Esther cooked for us last night...from left Rosa, Mika, Kathy, Esther. Till next time folks xxx

Live from Glastonbury!

Oh my bloody goodness...I am sitting in a field at Glastonbury Festival (albeit with a green towel over my head so I can see the laptop screen properly) and I'm online!! Hamish got his magic dongle out for me and I've stuck it in my laptop (now now, no jokes), and with a mere half an hour or so of expert computer wizardry (ha) I've managed to actually connect to the internet! So here we are, and the sun is shining, and the delightful hurly burlies are just waving distance up the road from us!

It's a bit of an old squeeze behind our stall - we usually have space to park our truck behind (it's our stock room, and we're usually in and out of it all day) but this time we literally have this tiny triangle of grass, barely space to swing a cat!!
So there's gonna be a lot of trekking to and from the truck with big heavy boxes...unless we have a VERY kindhearted neighbour who'll let us squeeze our monster truck in behind them! Hame and Mooly have done a great job of doing all the boy jobs, like putting up the marquee - this is what it looks like this morning:

Meanwhile, Shelley has been making some minor adjustments to her amazing new wings - made especially for Glastonbury! They're are so huge, and look very real and fairy-like...can't wait to get out and about with everyone fully dressed up! Not a welly boot in site, woohoo!!!

Right, we'd better crack on with setting up the stall...so I'm going to love you and leave you with this beautiful inspiring image of me tiptapping away at the blog...I wouldn't want all this effort to go to waste, so make sure you check back for regular Glastonbury updates and I'll make sure I make it rivetingly exciting and gossip-filled, to leave you gagging for more!

Late-night fairy-ing...

Evenin' all...it's nearly midnight and I'm still up in the fairy office, getting creative! I've been making some pasties (which Shelley has re-named 'Tasties'...a much nicer name. For those of you who don't know, they're like nipple tassles, but without the tassles! Burlesque stylee...). I've made Shelley a baby pink marabou pair, with tiny flower diamontes in the middle, and I've been working on a peacock feather pair for myself, which is proving quite a challenge. I've just finished one, but I think I'm going to have to fall in to bed very shortly, so hopefully I can find the time to make another tomorrow morning...can't really wear one on its own!! I was packing the big truck until 10pm last night, but it's now ready to roll to Glastonbury, so I feel justified in shifting my priorities to nipple-tasty-making!! Hopefully appearing soon on the Fairylove stall and online shop.

It's pouring with rain at the moment, which would normally have me close to tears, it being so soon till Glastonbury and all, BUT i've just checked the forecast, and it's GOOD!! Surely we deserve a hot sunny Glastonbury, after the last one...and the one before that..and the one before that...

Fingers, toes, and eyelashes crossed.

I'm taking my laptop to Glastonbury, and will do my best to update the blog daily with photos and tales of our adventures, happenings on the stall, and behind-the-scenes photos! Watch this space folks!

xxx

It's all about to go pop!

Hey Fairies!

Counting down time now until Glasto...lots of last minute preps , but all being well the Fairylove trucks will be wagons roll from HQ tomorrow morning.

Me, Jason fairy up in London watching Rachael get bigger and bigger. I can almost rest my pint on top of her tummy. Now five days over due...be great if junior decides to make an appearance today as he will be an equinox baby.

Difficult to describe my state of mind...bit of a mix between excitement, apprehension and incomprehension! hey-ho...soon enough.

Happy fairy days!!!

Hello me lovelies!!!

Such a beautiful day here at fairy towers!! Amazing!!! Summer is rolling in and I am hoping that it's just like this down at the Isle of Wight festie where rosa and the fairy dream team are doing a fantastic job of spreading the Fairylove!!!!

Yesterday Auriol fairy came with her mum to pick up her bespoke wings for her 21st birthday party!! She was completely over the moon with her wings that rosa and I had both worked on together! Her mum also bought herself a pair!! I think they are the tallest fairy wings we have made and so beautiful, they look completely real!!!

On Thursday night I went up to basingstake for a fairy book launch for Lee Weatherley's new series "Glitterwings Academy"...Books about a school, for fairies...(these will soon be available on our site and a good read for all!!!)

Nearly everyone at the launch wore fairy wings, about 50 and it was amazing to be around so many other fairies.....We met Lee when she first ordered a huge set to wear to her book signings and she has since bought 4 more pairs, including a set for her husband pete!!! Now a self confessed wing addict!! It was a lovely evening!!!

Went out dancing last night, Nizlopi at Prestiegne...They were fantastic!!! It was in a big dome, beautifully decorated....If you ever hear of them playing, get along and check them out!!!

Off to sit in the sunshine!! Huge wishes and kisses to you all!!!

For Who The The Cock Crows!

Hey Fairylovers!

It's an early start here at HQ.....the next door neighbour's cockerel who has recently been servicing our girls has decided it would be a good idea to come and welcome the dawn by cock-a-doodle-dooing right outside the bedroom window. 5am. He may soon end up on the dinner table.

More chicken news.......one of the girls has gone cannibal and is pecking the eggs open. Shelley thinks she might have found the culprit....we think it's Atilla the Hen...hardly surprising really. Another one for the table.

And so groovers here am I tippy-tapping at the break of day trying to catch up on fairy office duties as we had a power outage for most of yesterday. For those of you who are fresh in to the Blog, I am delighted to announce that the Fairylove '08 summer festival season is now fuly underway!

Rosa took a team to Wychwood Music festival last weeekend and they all did a great job of spreading the fairyluuurve. Funny ol' festival though...we've done a few gigs on the Racecourse at Cheltenham, and I dunno, it just seems to lack a heart somehow. Organisers had created a traders section which ended up being more of just a corridor to the campsite and back.

Nonetheless all fairies had a great time launching the Fairylove summer prize draw, and congrats to Miika and Esther fairies who lost thier Fairylove festie cherries!

Another busy day ahead.....getting ready for Stawberry fair which is up next. Not one of my favourites as it is only a one dayer and is always just a little bit lary after 8pm. I've always wondered why drunk boys feel the need to actually piss ON the side of traders stalls rather than just on the grass!! Sometimes if you're really lucky you might even find a human poo next to the stall....sorry about that , but it's good you know that it's not all galmourous in a faire's world.

Our hearts go out to all the Sunrise Festival goers who had their festival completely cancelled. from what i hear other festies are stumping up and offering free entry to their gigs as compensation....good on you guys!

Managed to squeeze in a few hours with Rachael yesterday and only 2 weeks to go before my life changes irrevocably forever.....we're both a bit bored of thinking about babies and now just want to get started on the real deal, especially Rachael who thinks she is as big as a hippo. I tried fitting the baby car seat yesterday....what a pallarver......I have a feeling that nothing is ever going to be simple and stright forward ever again!

Chickens, Hens and festival virgins

Hey Possoms!

Jace here.

I went to my first ante natal class the other day. We sat on chairs the wrong way round, ate jelly babies, listened attentively and were all very well behaved. Lots of information about birth process. Scary.

I had a go of the doll baby and simulated giving it a bath ....don't let go of the baby, whatever you do don't let go of the baby. I held on tight and mock washed like a proud new father. Just 2 weeks to go before B-day...no point in trying to imagine how it's all gonna be......I've tried...hundreds of times over the past few months. Just gotta chill out, keep the phone on and wait for The Call. Then it's a 2 hour drive to Rachael and the hozza. It's gonna be an interesting journey!

Aaaanyway, I digress. The Fairylove stall is up, stocked, and is fully fairied up and pushing out loads of love and magic at Wychwood Festival as I tippy-tap. The Dream Team on this gig is Hamish, Rosa Bloom, Esther and Mika. Esther and Mika popping their Fairylove cherry and by all accounts having a ball so far.

Meanwhile back at HQ Shelley and i are hosting a hen weekend for 10 fairy hens. They are currently having massages and will later get dressed up and go out on a fairy raid to Hereford town to scare the farmers on their weekly shop.

Pictured here are the fairy hens with the real hens.....birds of a feather!

Everything has suddenly speeded up around here, but feels great. Just to get the first festie done and the kit all dusted off again is such a relief. can't believe we've still got two more gigs before Glasto. I am sad to be missing Glasto but welcoming my first born son into the world will more than compensate.

Our facebook friends grow and grow and the fairy message is getting stronger. Odly enough I feel quite calm about everything at the moment. I know there's alot of hecticness about to come my way but maybe, just maybe I am managing my stress a bit better these days.

Breathing, breathing, breathing.

all-da-fun-a-da-fair!!

Well, now, I have been at Fairy HQ for a week now and it has all been jolly super magical really.

My friend Mika Fairy arrived at Glitter Mansions last Thursday to meet all the fairy lovers and give a helping hand! She was rather overcome with excitement, even finding the bathroom a magical cave of fairy delightfulness!

We have all been getting ready for the first festy next weekend, sorting out boxes of exciting things. I had a lovely time covering sunglasses in glitter, ready for sale at a festival soon!!

Mika explored dizzying heights of magic whilst packing fairy poo and all in all it has been jolly good fun in the fairy office.

Outside of work hours we've also been having a superduper trooper of a time!!

On Saturday night we all attended the Hurly Burly 1st Birthday Garden Party. The Hurly Burly Cafe are good friends of the FairyLovelies and are a rocking festy stall! Look out for them at Glastonbury and other fields near you very soon!! They provided us with a marvellous array of delish veggo food and a caberet of delights. Shelli-I Fair-I and Jesse-Lou even made an appearance on stage at our biggest gig yet, which was very very excitemacating and a lil' scary too!!

Well, I'm off home to Brighton tomorrow! Hope all a youse fairies have a ramalamadingdong of a summer and enjoy all the festies!! Woop Woop!! See y'all real soon!! Over and Out. xxx

Oh my goddah!!!

How has this happened?? We have our first festival next weekend and also at the same time a group of 12 fairy hens coming to fairy towers!!Oh my goddah!! Thank gods and godesses for fairy helpers and rosa fairies!!! Who are right now as we speak in the stockroom splitting stock and getting all the stock into plastic boxes to pack the lord (our big truck) with!!

Jess fairy has maybe gotten more than she bargained for when she agreed to come and help us for the week!!! First job was tagging fairy knickers and then separating them into 2 piles and then a bit of respite in abit of fairy poo packing!!! Then deep into the depths of fairy t-shirt land!!! Whoever knew that being a fairy helper could go to such heights of excitement???? She did have a lovely long walk with rosa and i last night and then a big relaxing bath last night so all is well!!

Wings are being finished off, things arriving, stock being ordered!! Amonst it all my new chickens don't seem to be getting along very well and it's affecting thier laying power, which up until now has been fantastic!!! If anyone has any handy chook tips i would love to hear them!! Cats are happy, have changed tinks name to wishes and it suits her much more!!!

I am feeling ok,a little dazed and confused and wishing life would just slow on down abit but hoping we can get thru all this with little stress and with fairy stylee!!!! Have some folk arriving for b+b and photoshoot tomorrow and have lots of lovely things planned for the weekend!! Come on sun!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines...

We've been working on a posh new leaflet for fairylove over the past couple of weeks. Rachael has done an amazing job of designing it, and we've been back and fro about a million times with lots of little tweaks and changes, and finally we're there! It's going to be sexy full colour, and will even be printed on recycled card with vegetable-based inks - pat on the back for us! We just thought if we're going to be producing that much paper, we should at least make it as environmentally friendly as possible. And I reckon it's gonna look so good that no one will throw it away anyway, they'll just stick it on their fridge/bathroom door/bedroom wall! Here's a sneak preview...if you want to see the whole thing, come and grab one from the Fairylove stall at the festivals!

Dead ducks, live kittens, and girlie shopping.

Hey fluff bundles!

Well....theres good news and bad news.......the ducks, once thought to be gay...are not gay............

The ducks were doing the wild thing the other week and hey presto..ducklings. Beautiful little bundles of yellow and black fluff..so innocent, so cute, so vulnerable, so dead. Thats the bad news.

We're not quite sure which predator was to blame, but it certainly wasn't me...I just wanna get that clear right from the start. Anyway the've all gone, so we are ducklingless again.

However we are still kitten rich, but if they keep pissing in the house , not quite sure how long that'll last either. Personally I'm getting a bit bored of them already.

Still, I'll have a very small person to cuddle soon. I just hope he's as cute as a kitten.....maybe less hairy.

The house was over run with fairies again last Saturday as Sarah and a load of buddies turned up, dressed up and went shopping for fairy goodies. Squeals of delight from around the grounds.

Festie preparations seem to be moving forwards although I've had a coupla days of not quite being able to finish jobs that i have started. Ever have those days? Bloody frustrating, and stuff lying around on the floor everywhere. I blame my star sign and given nature. Aries; good at starting, not so good on detail and follow through.

It'll all get done for sure, nothing like a bit of eleventh hour panic to get the job finished!

We invite you all to comment on any aspect of this blog...we'd love to hear from you.....or are we just tippy-tapping hopelessly into the ether??????

Glittery eyelashes

I've got glittery eyelashes today, from doing so much wing-decorating...I can see little sparkles every time I blink! I've been trying to get all of the wing orders underway so that I can get as many finished as possible before I'm lost to Festival World in just two weeks time....aaarrgghhh! From then on I'll be spending 5 nights a week in a field till September! Crazy.

I have regained my sense of smell at last, after my nasty cold (I walked into my flat this afternoon and thought 'hmm, I think I need to empty the compost bucket...ah ha, I can smell again!!"). Really looking forward to seeing Jess, Mika, Mel, and Sticky next week when they come up to visit Fairylove HQ...I'm planning on having a bit of a housewarming party to christen my flat.

We went on a great bike ride on Sunday evening, to Lewis and Mella's local pub. Morris went on the back of Lewis's bike, and was demanding dandelions all the way there and back, so that he could blow the seeds! Shelley mastered local pub. Morristhe technique of picking dandelions from the hedgerow as she cycled! On returning to Lewis's, we admired the newly-rigged lighting in the marquee that he has built for the Hurly Burly Cafe - whose 1st birthday we will be celebrating next weekend! Watch this space for photos...

Post-holiday update...

Hello fairies,

I'm adjusting to life back in the office after my fantastic road trip adventure with Mella and Morris. We packed so much into 6 days...including feeding the chickens at my mum and dad's house! I've got a bit of a post-holiday cold, so my sinuses are aching...but the sunshine is helping. I've been catching up with all my emails and cracking on with some wing orders too...the wing board is looking fuller than ever at the moment!

I'm settling in well to my new little flat...and LOVE being able to commute (walk!) to work in my slippers with a cup of tea! I've been planting sweet peas and everything...though my skills as a green-fingered fairy don't have a brilliant track-record. But fingers crossed for flowers in abundance. Right, better get my glittery fingers back to the winging... xxx
